Thanks to Soroptimist International of Selby and Tesco Selby

We would like to thank Soroptimist International of Selby and Tesco Selby for the donations of sanitary wear, toiletries and tinned food for Emergency Ukraine . Ian Wilson, had attended a previous Soroptimist meeting and talked about their humanitarian trip to Ukraine, especially an orphanage for girls, run by three nuns. We then met Stuart, who attended and spoke a little about their next trip in June. Particular items were requested for the girls in the orphanage. Members of SI Selby were very generous, as was Tesco Selby. The store had been contacted by a member of the Club and contributed a trolley of assorted toiletries for girls and a money voucher, which topped up the donation from SI Selby. We would also like to thank Margaret Burnett who raised a fantastic £670 from her coffee morning and cheese and wine evening.
